I am thrilled to work with children in the outdoors, exploring the beautiful Presidio! Making music and art together is a wonderful way to connect, and I love watching kids build friendships during their time at camp.

Since childhood, I've been entranced by music.  My older sister and I spent many a summer's day in the grass singing together. I am fortunate to have musician parents - my mom plays flute and my dad plays piano.  As a teen, I picked up folk-style guitar and never looked back.

In 2016, I discovered my passion for Children's Music through teaching at Friends of St. Francis Childcare Center in San Francisco. This led to teaching family music classes with Music Together.  I now give private music lessons in piano, ukulele and guitar from my home studio near Baker Beach to kids of all ages.

I'm an avid artist-- I enjoy silk-screening, collage, painting, and drawing with colored pencils. I believe art is a wonderful tool for self-expression, relaxation and fun.

My college degree is in Environmental Studies from the Audubon Expedition Institute, a program where I spent my college years identifying plants and birds, visiting national parks, camping, exploring the connection between culture & nature, and living in community.

Summer Camp has felt like a soul home for me since I started working for Wanderer's Summer Camp in 2011, a camp where we took kids on daily expeditions around the San Francisco Bay Area.  I also explored science and nature with campers at Tree Frog Treks for 7 years in Golden Gate Park.

I am looking forward to meeting your awesome kids and creating something beautiful together!

I am so excited to be part of Music, Art & Adventure!  I love to share the joy of music and nature with campers!

From being an overnight camp counselor, to chaperoning boys all over the world on SF Boys Chorus tours, to marching groups of kids around Golden Gate Park with Tree Frog Treks, I have loved working with kids.

As an experienced backpacker, I have spent many days in the back country of the Sierra Mountains. Equally, I have explored our city of San Francisco inside and out. I want to inspire kids to love our city.  I believe through a natural an artistic lens, kids learn to respect, preserve, create and most of all, love this beautiful planet and each other.

I am a graduate of the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, and have been part of the choral and opera scene in San Francisco since I was 7 years old. I currently sing in the San Francisco Opera Chorus, teach voice and direct the Graduate Chorale at the San Francisco Boys Chorus, and vocal performance at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts.
