2024 Summer Camp Sessions:
Session 1: July 29 - August 2
By the Bay @ Crissy Field

Looking out over a foggy bridge during our Crissy Field Session, 2023
Shore birds and sand crabs will be our quarry as we explore marshes at the San Francisco Bay. From the Golden Gate Bridge to the Presidio Tunnel Tops Playground, we will play and learn. Find inspiration in the gentle gradient between land and sea, create your own creatures out of clay, and sing tunes about them as a group.
Session 2: August 5 -9
Trees & Breeze @ Baker Beach
Decorating our own homemade boats, Baker Beach 2023
Explore the dunes and woods near Baker Beach in Music, Art and Adventure's class week of camp. Learn songs about the wildlife that live by the sea and write your own. Use art supplies to make and decorate kites and create poems for our favorite sea creatures.
Session 3: August 12 - 16 - FULL
Redwoods and Rhymes @ El Polin Spring
Posing with some flowers along the trail to El Polin Spring, Summer 2023

At Camp...

At camp, children have days filled with exploration of San Francisco's very own National Park: The Presidio.

Each week we explore a different corner of the Park such as Baker Beach, Crissy Field, and Inspiration Point.
We spend our days playing together, making art and music, and building friendships.

We make art together using materials such as clay, crayons, pinecones and watercolors. We love using nature-inspired materials.

We play music games using rhythm instruments and musical toys, and we even make our own instruments.

Learning about nature is a huge part of what we do at camp. Campers curiosity and wonder leads what we study, which often includes local wildlife, plants and ecosystems.

And, of course there is always time for bubbles, camp games, dance parties and more!
